Who am I??

Hi, I’m Sanjil Shakya – Product Owner & Quality Specialist

With a strong foundation in technology and a deep curiosity about how things work, I pursued my BSc. IT at The British College. Over the years, I’ve grown into a versatile professional known for being easygoing, a quick learner, and a thoughtful listener with solid problem-solving and communication skills.

My journey in IT began with a passion for website and web application development, which led me to explore the world of software quality. I transitioned into Quality Assurance, where I honed my skills in identifying usability issues, ensuring product stability, and enhancing user experience. This hands-on experience with product life cycles and stakeholder collaboration naturally evolved into a Product Owner role.

Currently, I work at Blys as a Product Quality Specialist, where I focus on delivering high-quality user experiences through close collaboration with product, design, and development teams. I also lead a product for a renowned fitness center in Nepal, overseeing its development and ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.

Bringing together technical expertise and a strategic mindset, I’m passionate about building products that not only meet expectations but continuously push for innovation, usability, and impact.

At Blys, a leading wellness platform in Australia, I work as a Product Quality Specialist ensuring the delivery of high-quality digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. In Veda, I work as a Product Owner and Quality Analyst. My responsibilities are to review and analyze the products and features in-depth and deliver quality features or products to the end users. Also, I perform the role of managing the products and features by researching, gathering, and analyzing the requirements and delivering a quality product. I fulfill the responsibility of dealing with the clients and providing necessary support and guidelines as per necessity.

Project Manager

Worked as a Project Manager at Ingrails Pvt Ltd. for DOKO Recyclers Project

DOKO Recyclers project was a revamping project in Ingrails. They have been one of the oldest clients of Ingrails. DOKO Recyclers are the social enterprise that manages and recycles dry wastes.

I had been given an opportunity to play an important part in the revamping program for the DOKO Recyclers project as a Project Manager. This project was held for 3 months, during which the entire system needed to be reconfigured, updated and optimized along with the introduction of the Service App. I managed the project, communicated with the client every week and had a transparent workflow so that the changes and issue fixes could be made quickly. I followed the agile methodology for this project. I used SCRUM for the development phase and KANBAN for the feedback phase. It allowed me and my team to maintain a structured development process while also managing the continuous flow of feedback.
